Cumberland | Girl Scout Discovery Event: Design Your Own Bookmark – A Creative Expression Station

Calling all Girl Scouts and creative hearts! 👩🏻‍🎨

Whether your girl loves to write, draw, or simply express herself in meaningful ways—this hands-on bookmark-making station is a space for imagination, reflection, and kindness.

Girls will create personalized wooden bookmarks with original quotes, short poems, or a personal message, then decorate them with vibrant colors, stencils, and tassels. It’s a perfect space to express themselves and connect through creativity.

🏅Badge Connection:
• Junior Scribe – Step 2: Write a short story or poem
• Also adaptable for Brownie “My Best Self” or Daisy “Make the World a Better Place”

✨ Bonus: "Make One, Give One"—donate a bookmark to a local library or literacy group to spread joy!

👉 Optional: Bring a favorite quote, book, or affirmation for inspiration.
